Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell has been a chef, television presenter in the US and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spiky blonde hair and a pumped up personality reveals easy methods to master and removes the fear of eating at restaurants on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell has worked for a time in New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary practices and the environment. Additionally, she competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. Growing up in the Upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food early on. The Culinary Institute of America is where she enrolled following her graduation with an English degree and a Communications certificate from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great learning experience. I couldn't seem to get enough pleasure from it. After graduation, Burrell spent one year in Italy studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and worked in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as well as Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, which is a Michelin-starred establishment. Her time spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, which has had an impact on her own culinary perspective. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens children living with obstacles and is also a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she advocates for juvenile diabetes awareness. Burrell speaks on her culinary love and imparts her knowledge of the culinary world, as she regularly travels throughout the US in both her roles as speakers and mentors. Through her culinary adventures, Anne often says that she feels so lucky to be able to share my passion for life with people.
