Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was the younger daughter
of media producer, mogul Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is
her older sister. She also has five half-siblings derived from the other
relationships her father had with his family. Her father is African-American,
and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant from migrants to Russia as
well as Latvia). Rashida was born into Reform Judaism. She was born in Bel Air,
Los Angeles, California. Jones stated that her mixed-race heritage was not
recognized in the society of the 1970s. Jones first professional acting
experience was in The Last Don (1997) A mini-series based on Mario Puzo's
novel. Rashida was also a graduate of Harvard University in 1997. Went to the
Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California. Was voted Most Likely to succeed.
Arabic (O+ O'UO-O(c) (her name) means "Major," adult, mature, wise or

Jones and her sister. Kidada as well as Rashida's brother Quincy Jones III
composed the song. Quincy Jones III, their father, was also featured during the

the basis for the song's title. Rashida's dad is African-American but also has
smaller quantities of English, Scottish, and Welsh ancestral family ancestry
(some of his African family members were descendants of the Tikar people from Cameroon).
Her mother, Rashida, is Ashkenazi Jewish (of Russian Jewish and Latvian Jewish
descent). Her paternal grandparents, both from South Carolina, and Mississippi
and Mississippi, were the paternal grandparents of her father. Her maternal
grandfather was born to New Yorkers, while her maternal grandmother was from
Eastern European Jewish heritage. At the end 2009, she was playing three
