Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on the 25th of November in 1968 is a Canadian actor from Canada. Her roles on American television shows Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her leading character. She has also been acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy her father was a marketing executive and salesman. This required frequent travel that led to numerous family relocations. Maxine was her mother. She was secretary. Her daughter was taken away by Eleanor her paternal grandmother in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother and Jacqueline is a twin sister. Jacqueline works as a journalist and host on the Canadian television program. Hennessy is a mixture of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian heritage on her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both in Kitchener, Ontario, and was busking in the Toronto subway. Hennessy as well as her sister were among the first actors to be cast as twin call girls on 1988's Dead Ringers. The actress was nominated to play Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson, the actress who was eventually offered the role.She made an appearance in Broadway in the musical Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990.In 1993, she was on the show as Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3.In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. She portrayed the role for three seasons before ending the series as an actor in 1996.
